Mass murder of children in Pakistan is utterly unjustifiable, says Roger

Roger condemned the appalling massacre of more than 140 people, including more than 130 children, by the Pakistan Taliban at a school in Peshawar as “utterly unjustifiable”.
He commented: “This slaughter of innocent children and their teachers can have no possible justification. It was a mindless act of sheer evil.
“It is right that we in the UK actively scrutinise our Government and hold it to account for its foreign policy decisions, some of which have contributed to the current conflict raging in much of the Middle East. However, the Pakistan Taliban have demonstrated that they have no respect at all for human life or human rights, and they must be unequivocally condemned.
“I extend my sympathies and condolences to the people of Pakistan for the appalling loss and terror they have suffered.”
