Roger is supporting the CutTaxTo10p campaign
Roger is backing the campaign to ask the Chancellor to bring back the 10p rate of income tax as soon as the economy recovers.
He said: “If income tax was cut to 10p on all earnings below £12,000 you would keep around £256 more in your pay-packet, every year. This would cost the Government about £6 billion pounds annually. This is expensive but it's worth it as the low-paid would benefit the most, as a share of income.
Roger has also signed Early Day Motions 907 and 897 on restoring the 10p rate of tax.
