Roger is supporting Women-on-Boards
“It is wrong that only 16% of board members of large publicly quoted companies are women, and I fully support the proposals by the European Commission”, says Roger.
“There are more than enough high quality female candidates to fill these roles, if the right recruitment and promotion policies were in place.”
The European Commission’s proposals, which are currently before the UK Parliament, would make it legally binding for there to be a quota of 40% of women on the boards of larger European companies.
