Government have started consulting on fracking under people's houses without their permission

The Government have opened a consultation on whether to allow energy companies to start fracking under people's properties without their consent. There is widespread public opposition to fracking, and no appetite at all to force people to have fracking companies on their land without their consent.
Roger said: "I am curious about why the Government decided to open the consultation on fracking on a day when the entire media and all of Westminster is busy with the local election results. It's almost as though the Government don't want to draw attention to these proposals because they know people will be opposed to them..."
